ABOUT

James has over a decade of experience in developing and producing original media content as a writer, producer, and director.  His work has received numerous awards and has been invited to international film festivals around the globe.  His film, Wianbu, won the East Coast Regionals at the 35th Student Academy Awards (Oscars ®) and it was nominated as a national finalist.

Before his filmmaking career, James earned multiple degrees in directing, screenwriting, acting and cinematography, and worked on numerous productions to gain hands-on experience as a filmmaker.

In addition to his own work, James serves as a freelance cinematographer and editor to directors and producers on both coasts as well as parts in between.

Most recently, he is working with a production company in Hollywood, Hierarchy Pictures, developing a dramatic motion picture screenplay, “K-Popular.”  A music drama following the journey of four musicians through their ups and downs in becoming legendary artists.
